No WalMarts in Sight

I want to live in a society where there are no WalMarts....Ever. I want to walk down a tree lined street and visit a bakery, a butcher, the photographer, the florist, the stationer, the shoe repairman, and the deli. I remember this way of life and I miss it. What has become of our society that to save a few measly bucks we have destroyed all these businesses?
